You can expect a mild prickling sensation during treatment. The oscillation of the device minimizes discomfort, and most clients describe the experience as tolerable. For sensitive skin, a topical numbing cream may be applied beforehand to enhance comfort. While not entirely pain-free, the treatment is quick, precise, and well-tolerated by most.

Please discontinue use of all active skincare ingredients 5–7 days before your appointment. This includes retinoids (tretinoin, retinol), AHAs (glycolic or lactic acid), BHAs (salicylic acid), benzoyl peroxide, hydroquinone, and azelaic acid.

If you’re prone to cold sores, it’s recommended to take or apply an antiviral medication before your treatment. Arrive with clean skin and avoid recent sunburn or chemical exfoliation.

Your skin may appear slightly red and feel warm—similar to a mild sunburn—for 24–48 hours. Depending on treatment depth, mild flaking or dryness may occur as your skin renews itself.

Avoid direct sun exposure, saunas, heavy exercise, or makeup for 24 hours post-treatment. Gentle cleansing, hydration, and broad-spectrum SPF are highly recommended. Active ingredients can be resumed after 5–7 days once the skin barrier has recovered.

While you’ll notice tighter skin and a visible glow after just one session, microneedling works cumulatively. For optimal collagen remodeling and long-term results, a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended.
